BoilerExpress is a convenient option to preload funds to an online account. You can access your account with the swipe of your Purdue ID card at over 30 retail locations across campus.

Your account takes about five minutes to set up. After that, you can log into eAccounts and make a deposit.

If you had a BoilerExpress account in the past and it was closed, you will need to contact our office to have your account reinstated after signing the Terms and Conditions again.

You can verify their debit account balance(s) and meal plan balance(s) online by logging into eAccounts using your career account login and BoilerKey.

You can verify 12 months of transaction activity online by logging into eAccounts using your career account login and BoilerKey.

The BoilerExpress account is a debit account for which you must fill out an application and deposit funds. The Dining Dollar account is opened for you when you sign up for a housing contract through University Residences based on the meal plan chosen.

Only BoilerExpress is accepted in the laundry rooms of most residence halls.

BoilerExpress is NOT accepted at bookstores or other off-campus locations. For a complete list of locations where BoilerExpress is accepted, please visit the Locations portion of this website.

Your BoilerExpress account will roll with you from semester to semester and from year to year. Any funds remaining in the account at the end of the school year will still be there when you return the following semester.

  • You may open an account by submitting an application online.
  • Additional deposits can be made at any time.
  • Deposits are credited to your account on the day they are received.
  • Deposits are made by cash or check only in our office, or at the Smalley Center. Deposits can also be made online using credit or debit cards.
  • Your debit account balance will be carried forward from semester to semester as long as you are enrolled or employed by the University.

The student controls the entire process through their myPurdue portal and can add anyone with a valid email address as a proxy.

Cash withdrawals are not permitted. Also, cash refunds are not made for returned merchandise.

Once a transaction is complete, funds are deposited immediately into your account. If the money does not show in you account, but shows as pending in your bank account a step was missed. At the end of the transaction be sure to click the button that says Make Deposit.

If funds show as debited from your bank account, not pending, but do not show up in your BoilerExpress account please fill out a SharePoint request here.

First, please complete an online request form. Refunds for graduating students are processed after finals week. There is a fee to close the account. Please allow six weeks for processing.

If you owe money to the University, the refund goes toward the balance owed. If you are signed up for direct deposit and no money is owed, a refund will go directly into the account you have set up. If you do not have direct deposit, then a check is written and mailed to the address you have on file with the university. Please check which address you have on file. Please note that we do not send mail to addresses outside the U.S.
