AQUATICS

Recreation & Wellness has two separate aquatic facilities that host recreational, educational and certification programs. The competition pool and diving well in the Morgan J. Burke Aquatic Center support competitive swimming & diving, club sports, and recreational swimming. The Recreation Pool (a warmer and shallower pool) is home to Learn-to-Swim lessons, kid’s camps, and a variety of leisure activities and recreational swimming. See the pools hours.

Key Log - Rolling

Our Key Log facilitators will help you learn the basics of log rolling.  Come enjoy the sport of log rolling every Friday evening 8:30pm-9:30pm at the Rec Pool. To learn more watch this video

Recreaion and Wellness is also proud to be hostsite for the 2018 Collegiate Log Rolling Championships - Saturday, October 27.  Visit Key Log for event and registration information.

Learn to Swim

Our certified and enthusiastic swim instructors offer lessons for both children and adults throughout the year. Group, Private, and Semi-Private Lessons are available.

Certifications

We have an extensive certification program for the individual desiring to take their aquatics and safety knowledge to the next level. CPR Classes for Layperson and Professional Rescuer, Lifeguarding, Lifeguard Instructor, and Water Safety Instructor Classes are all available.

Aquatic Employment

We are always looking for skilled, enthusiastic and motivated individuals to work as Lifeguards, Swimming Instructors (WSI), Key Log Facilitators and Meet Management staff.  We hire throughout the year for these positions and are flexible around your schedule.  For more information or to inquire about one of these positions, please click here.
