The Institute Proposal Module is the University's official record of proposals that are submitted to sponsors. This is the data that statistical reports utilize for all pre-award activity, so data integrity here is very important. Administrators with the appropriate access can view information in this module, but only a few people in SPS are allowed to update it.  The layout and contents of an Institute Proposal records are very similar to Proposal Development and utilize the same top-tab navigation between screens.  It is important to note that all Budget information, excluding the final Direct, Indirect, and Total cost is NOT available in Institute Proposal.  User’s must display the appropriate corresponding Proposal Development record for budget information.

Institute Proposals also contain uploaded attachments of both all documents that occur between the point of sponsor submission and approval/not funded notification.  IP Attachments is also the location that SPS Pre-Award will upload any proposal documents that correspond to a Proposal Development Narrative that have now been finalized.
