Welcome to the Office of Sponsored Program Services (SPS)
SPS is responsible for assisting principal investigators with securing and administering extramural grants and contracts. SPS staff in Pre-Award, Post Award, Contracting, and Support Services provide the following services to University faculty and staff:
- advice and assistance with budget preparation and interpretation of sponsor requirements during proposal preparation
- review, negotiation and execution of sponsored contracts
- information and interpretation of sponsor and University policies and regulations to assist with account management, and
- data and support services throughout the life of a project
SPS provides this support in partnership with staff in the Executive Vice President for Research and Partnerships office and staff in the other areas reporting to the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer.
