Past Showcase Award Recipients
Starting in 2026, the Showcase began judging and awarding presenters. There are three levels of recognition for presentations, based on scores from formal judging evaluations:
- Presentation with High Distinction: The top 5 presentations receive High Distinction recognition. Presenting student authors receive a certificate recognizing a conference presentation with High Distinction. Eligible presentations (i.e., a maximum of four presenting student authors) also receive a financial award of $100, subject to available funding.
- Presentation with Distinction: The top 20% of presentations (based on overall scores) receive Distinction recognition. Presenting student authors receive a certificate recognizing a conference presentation with Distinction.
- Presentation: All presenting student authors receive a certificate recognizing a conference presentation.
