Indy Student Showcase Guidelines
The 2026 Purdue's Student Innovation & Excellence Showcase will host two poster symposia providing students at Purdue's Indianapolis location with a valuable opportunity to present their work to the Indianapolis and greater Purdue community.
Information for Presenters
- Presentations will occur on April 30, 2026:
- First Poster Symposium: 10:30am-12:00pm in the Campus Center, Room 405
- Second Poster Symposium: 1:30pm-3:00pm in the Campus Center, Room 405
- Check-in will begin 30 minutes prior to each session.
- You should consider at least business casual for your presentation.
- Posters should be no more than 3' wide and 2' tall. Posters that do not fit this will NOT fit on the board provided at the event.
- Poster boards will have binder clips to affix your posters. These will be provided - do not bring push pins to attach your poster.
- It is recommended not to have more than 3 presenters at a time at a poster. More presenters will make the space more crowded and risk the presentation to visitors going longer than anticipated.
- To prepare for the judges, you can self-evaluate your presentation with this rubric for creating your poster and to practice your delivery: Poster presentation rubric.
