1. The Investigator/Study Personnel screen must be open.

2. Click on the name of the currently listed PI if listed person will remain on protocol with a different role

3.  Change the Protocol Role of the original PI to Co-Investigator

4.  Click "Save"

5. Name the new PI

1. If the new PI is currently listed as “Co-Investigator”, you can click on their name and change their Protocol Role to “Investigator” and click “Save”

2. If the new PI is currently listed as “Study Personnel”, you will need to Remove them, then complete another person search to re-add them, and select “Investigator” as the Protocol Role and click “Save”

3. Likewise, if anyone listed as “Investigator” or “Co-Investigator” should be changed to “Study Personnel”, you must remove them, then complete another person search to re-add them, and select “Study Personnel” and click “Save”
