​The Indiana Department of Natural Resources (INDNR) alerts Indiana that they have located the fungus causing Thousand Cankers Disease on two black walnut trees in Brown County’s Yellowwood State Forest. Indiana now joins Maryland, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania Tennessee, Virginia and eight western states with confirmed instances of the disease.
