Qualtrics surveys created under the Purdue brand must comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA Standards to ensure that all users have an equal experience. You may not use any Non-Accessible questions when creating a public survey under the Purdue brand.

Best Practices when Creating a Survey
- Do not use Non-Accessible questions
- Follow the Qualtrics Accessibility guide
- Include a descriptive title
- Number all questions
- Enable option to show Export Tags (show question numbers)
- Utilize Previous/Next/Submit buttons
- Add text to images
- Ensure embedded media also meets guidelines
- Avoid timed questions
- Ensure that colors and fonts meet WGAC standards (the Accessibility Checker does not evaluate the look and feel of a survey)
- Provide contact information (email, phone, etc.) for survey respondents to use if they encounter any accessibility issues while taking the survey
