Instructions for making and using a tree measuring stick are available from publication FNR-4: How to Make and Use the Tree Measuring Stick. Those instructions call for blueprint paper, which can be requested from the Purdue Extension-Forestry and Natural Resources (FNR) Office, 195 Marsteller Street, West Lafayette, IN 47907, or by calling (765) 494-3583 or emailing fnrextension@purdue.edu.
