The IACUC Protocol Search function in CoeusLite provides a User with the capability of locating specific protocol records quickly. Searching is based off of the criteria entered into the various search fields and will provide a list of all records that fit the entered criteria.

1. Open the IACUC Protocol module by clicking "My IACUC Protocols" located at the top of each CoeusLite screen.

2. Click on the "Protocol Search" link. An additional window should open with the Proposal Search screen.

3. Enter known criteria to establish search parameters. Multiple fields of criteria may be utilized to narrow search results.

4. Search criteria may consist of any know portion of the field information. (example: a portion of the title or Investigator name)

5. Open the desired IACUC Protocol by clicking the record from the search results list.

NOTE: It is highly recommended that all search fields utilize the wildcard (*) symbol before and after entered criteria. If the wildcard is not utilized, all entered search criteria must be exactly as it appears in the database or no results will be returned.
