Length of time at PUSH:

Before transitioning to PUSH in August 2025, my current role was housed under RecWell’s services. I have been working at my alma mater since 2023 and half of my time is spent with clients while the remainder of my time is devoted to teaching in the Nutrition Science Department. I was previously the clinical nutrition manager at IU Health Arnett for four years, overseeing both inpatient and outpatient dietetic services. Before working with IU Health I served as an outpatient and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation dietitian with Ohio University and Ohio Health O’Bleness hospital for five years. In that role I collaborated with the University’s eating disorders support team; contributed to lifestyle medicine, culinary, and weight management programming; coordinated employee wellness screenings and well-being initiatives; and, worked with a broad array of clients from the University and our community. I started my career at St. Rose Hospital in California, where I provided inpatient care for patients on our medical/surgical and floor and in the ICU for four years.

Why do you like working at PUSH?:

We are united in a common goal of caring for the health and well-being of our students. I love learning from my colleagues and seeing what we can achieve when we work together to support our clients.

Philosophy of Care:

I want each of my clients to have their best relationship with food and their body, whether they’re working toward eating disorder recovery, are learning to grocery shop and cook in ways that will help them improve their cholesterol and blood glucose levels, or are working toward better athletic performance so they can excel at a club sport. I love translating the science into “what can I put on my plate”. I believe in the power of nutrition and in personalized care - finding the right fueling pattern for each individual client.

What do you like to do when you're not at PUSH?

I’m a self-professed foodie and love to cook and bake, especially for appreciative friends and family. I also like gardening and am thrilled when I can pick something from the garden and add it to the dinner menu or tuck a small bouquet of fresh-cut flowers from the yard on my kitchen windowsill. I have two cats and am way too smitten with them (yes, I have a favorite, I know I shouldn’t!) I love travelling whether it’s a two-week road-trip, a weekend getaway, or a vacation in Europe. A perfect morning includes two cups of coffee and a perfect evening includes a walk after dinner and curling up with the kitties to watch a period drama or a comedy on Netflix.

Fun Fact:

I took a gap-year between high school and college to work as an au pair in England.
