Length of time at PUSH:

Before coming to PUSH in September 2025, I practiced as a lead dietitian at RoundTable Wellness, an outpatient eating disorder treatment center in Lafayette, IN for 5 years facilitating one-on-one client work and co-facilitating the intensive outpatient program. Before that, I worked as a staff dietitian for Women, Infants, and Children clinic in Northwest Indiana.

Why do you like working at PUSH?:

I appreciate the ability to continue working with a multi-disciplinary team and the potential impact I can have on students, both as patients and as mentees. In my role, I will also be partnering with Wellbeing to continue addressing all factors, especially the socioeconomic factors for college students, that can influence our health and wellbeing.

Philosophy of Care:

I do use a weight and food inclusive approach to my medical nutrition therapy, meaning I have understanding that weight is an outcome of multiple factors beyond how we eat and move our bodies and is not fully within our control. As a dietitian, I am most concerned about a person’s access and relationship with food.  I hope to build students’ confidence and understanding of how to support their bodies with nutrition and learn from them in the process.

In the words of Jessica Wilson, MS, RD, I have continued to build awareness of how both the public health and medical framing of “healthy eating” and “obesity” has contributed to disordered eating and self blame. I try to bring curiosity and critical thinking to all conversations and examine my own biases that can impact patient care.

What do you like to do when you're not at PUSH?

When not working, I love spending time with friends and family, especially my dogs. I enjoy learning about positive reinforcement training for dogs, reading, updating my Letterboxd, and playing tennis.

Fun Fact:

I’ve visited Australia while have yet to visit Canada despite growing up less than 4 hours from the border, which is nothing as a Midwesterner.
