Pre-Medical and Other Professional School Programs
Pre-professional studies in the College of Science is an option for students with the desire to attend a professional school after graduation. All students have a major of their choice and also enroll in pre-professional prerequisite courses.
The Association for American Medical Colleges states that premedical students "need to demonstrate both knowledge of and ability to use basic principles of mathematics and statistics, physics, chemistry, biochemistry, and biology needed for the application of the sciences to human health and disease."
