Gratitude in Motion
As the season of thanks arrives, take a moment to notice the small, everyday things that bring you peace or a sense of connection - a warm cup of coffee or tea, a laugh with a friend, the sound of leaves crunching underfoot. These simple moments strengthen our mental and physical well-being more than we realize.
Gratitude doesn’t just lift your mood, it encourages you to look outward, too. When we share kindness, we multiply it. A small gesture - holding the door, offering a smile, sending a “thinking of you” text, can shift someone else’s day for the better.
Wellness Tip: As you walk through campus this month, take the “Hello Walk” instead of the long way around. A quick hello or wave might be exactly what someone needs that day, and who knows – maybe it’ll make you feel good too. Let’s build ourselves up and strengthen our Purdue community, because wellness grows through connection.
If our paths don’t cross this month, this is me smiling and saying hello – we at PUSH see you, appreciate you, and are thankful for all that is you.
