Doctoral Internship

  • This is a 2000 hour, 12-month, full-time internship, with a stipend of $27,446
  • Supervision and mentorship are provided to meet profession-wide competencies in the field of health service psychology
  • Interns prepare for careers in University Counseling Centers and other related mental health settings
  • Interns develop advanced clinical skills in health service psychology including:
    • provision of culturally competent individual and group therapy
    • clinical and diagnostic assessment skills
    • supervision provision (contingent upon availability of practicum students, otherwise through peer supervision)
    • provide consultation services to the university community
