“Whoa, we’re halfway there…”

March marks that point in the semester where motivation can dip, deadlines stack up, and the finish line still feels far away. Being halfway there doesn’t always feel triumphant, sometimes it just feels exhausting. But halfway also means you’ve already made it through more than you realize.

Resilience isn’t about pushing nonstop or pretending things aren’t hard. It’s about continuing forward, even when energy is low, and trusting that the effort you’re putting in now still counts. This is the part of the semester where staying focused, pacing yourself, and caring for your well-being matters most.

“Take my hand, we’ll make it, I swear…”

You don’t have to do this alone. Whether it’s talking things through with a friend, leaning on

classmates or coworkers, or reaching out for extra support, connection builds resilience. Resources like PUSH and CAPS are here to support both your physical and mental health, sometimes just having someone listen can help you regain perspective and momentum.

And yes, some days really do feel like we’re livin’ on a prayer. But keep going. The light at the end of the tunnel is real, even if you can’t quite see it yet.

Wellness Tip: If March feels heavy, break the rest of the semester into smaller, manageable steps. Focus on what’s right in front of you, one assignment, one study session, one day at a time. You’re closer than you think, and you are capable of finishing strong.
