CAPS' No-Show Policy

CAPS appreciates your efforts to cancel your scheduled appointments at least 24 hours in advance.

When you call to cancel a scheduled appointment with at least 24 hour notice we have the opportunity to refill that appointment with another student in need.  Please help us meet another student’s need by calling in advance to cancel or reschedule your appointments.

Effective January 3, 2017, there will be a $25.00 fee for No-Shows to any scheduled appointments.  You will be charged a no-show fee under the following circumstances:

  1. You do not contact CAPS and do not attend your scheduled appointment
  2. You contact CAPS to cancel your appointment after your scheduled appointment time
  3. You arrive more than 10 minutes late to your scheduled appointment time

Students arriving more than 10 minutes late for your appointment will not be able to meet with their provider that day and the session with be considered a no-show appointment.

To cancel an appointment you may email your clinician or call our office at 765-494-6995 – option 2.

Students charged with 2 no-show fees will be encouraged to meet with the CAPS Director (Dr. Susan Prieto-Welch) or the Assistant Director for Clinical Services to discuss readiness for treatment.

Again, thank you for letting us know in advance if you cannot make your scheduled appointment so that we may serve other students during that time.
