CAPS' No-Show Policy


CAPS appreciates your canceling your scheduled appointment at least 24 hours in advance.

When you call to cancel a scheduled appointment with at least 24 hour notice we have the opportunity to refill that appointment with another student in need.  Please help us meet another student’s need by calling in advance to cancel or reschedule your appointments.

There will be a $25.00 no-show fee for appointments canceled less than 24 hours in advance.  You will incur a $25.00 fee under the following circumstances, as well:

  1. You do not contact CAPS and do not attend your scheduled appointment
  2. You contact CAPS to cancel your appointment after your scheduled appointment time
  3. You arrive more than 10 minutes late to your scheduled appointment time. The session will be rescheduled, and you will also not be able to meet with your provider that day if you are more than 10 minutes late for a scheduled appointment.

To cancel an appointment you may email your clinician or call our office at 765-494-6995 – option 2, and leave a message

No further treatment appointments will be scheduled for students charged with 2 no-show fees until they meet with their clinician to discuss readiness for treatment.
