Brief Phone Screen:

To initiate service with CAPS, please schedule a brief phone screen online or by calling 765-494-6995,which are available during business hours, Monday-Friday. Brief phone screens are a phone appointment with a clinician to assess the nature and urgency of your concerns, and identify the most appropriate next steps.

West Lafayette Main Location: Purdue Student Health Center (PUSH) Room 224

Located on the second floor of PUSH, please check in at the reception area located in the middle of the second floor.

CAPS West Lafayette Satellite Locations

  • Purdue Graduate Student Center (PGSC) Rooms 101 and 103

    Located at 504 Northwestern Avenue inside the Northwestern Parking Garage. There are two chairs in the building lobby for you to wait for your appointment.

  • Young Hall (YONG) Room 830

    Located at 155 S. Grant Street. From the main entrance on Grant Street, proceed straight to the elevators and head to the 8th floor. Upon exiting the elevators, turn left to check in at room 830.

  • College of Veterinary Medicine Counseling and Wellness Services (LYNN) Hall Rooms 1245 and 1265

    Located at 625 Harrison Street.

Purdue Online

Purdue Online students are eligible for CAPS services including receiving free individual therapy services through Uwill, when referred by CAPS. Uwill enables expanded service for online students living outside the state of Indiana. Uwill offers online students at Purdue free and flexible access to a therapist of their choice through proprietary technology that facilitates direct appointments with licensed mental health counselors, regardless of location.

Uwill services are initiated after a brief screening and referral from CAPS. CAPS offers same-day/next-day services for any student seeking care. For more information, call 765-494-6995.
