Study Abroad Scholarship Opportunities

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you did’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”
– Mark Twain

College of Science Study Abroad Scholarship

By covering the costs of travel, a College of Science Study Abroad Scholarship helps defray the cost of a study abroad program. Purdue University approved Study Abroad programs are often competitive in cost to campus attendance and thus students are highly encourage to speak with their advisors about adding this life-changing opportunity to their Purdue experience. In order to qualify for a scholarship, a student’s Study Abroad program must meet criteria set forth in the Foreign Language and Culture requirement.

Grabowski Scholarship

Zbig and Maureen Grabowski have given generously to the College of Science to assist its students in the pursuit of study abroad experiences. As extensive travelers during their educational experiences as well as throughout their adult lives, they are well aware of how travel experience broadens the mind, as well as how living in a different country can literally change a person and their outlook on life. As a result, the goal of their scholarship is to allow as many students as possible to be exposed to education-based travel experiences. The Foreign Language and Culture Study Abroad requirements apply.
