Together, we can .
See our FAQsAs a board certified family practice physician, I enjoy evaluating and treating a wide variety of physical and mental health conditions.
In January of 1992, near the end of my family practice residency, I began working part-time at PUSH. In September of 1992, after finishing my family practice residency, I began working as a family practice physician in private practice in Sheridan, IN. During this time, I continued to work part-time at PUSH. I left private practice in December of 1999 to become a full-time staff physician at PUSH.
I like working at PUSH because it gives me the opportunity to assist students with their physical and mental health needs, so that they can accomplish their educational goals while at Purdue. I also enjoy the opportunity to serve people from many different cultures and nationalities.
I believe that every human being should be treated with compassion, dignity and respect. My basic philosophy is to treat others in exactly the same way that I would desire to be treated by a physician.
When I am not working at PUSH, I like to spend time with my family. I enjoy reading mysteries and dramas. I enjoy watching college and professional football and basketball with my husband. We also enjoy shows like Project Runway and Top Chef. I enjoy traveling and attending medical conferences.
After being a physician for over twenty-five years, I still enjoy my job and love the field of medicine!
