During the semester that you are registered to graduate, an electronic Form 7 must be completed. The ESE Graduate Program Specialist will generate the Form 7, and the committee members will record their responses. The committee or department may require a meeting with or without the students to discuss their work and determine whether they recommend the student receive their degree. Check with your degree granting department to see if they have any specific requirements needed to complete for a MS Non-Thesis degree.
At least 3 weeks before your exam date, submit the electronic Form 8 (Request for Appointment of Examining Committee). Fully approved Form 8’s must be received by OGSPS at least 2 weeks prior to the exam date. Once the Form 8 is approved by OGSPS, a Form 7 will be created for your committee members. After your exam, your committee will electronically record the results of your exam for OGSPS.
Following your exam, you should follow the Thesis/Dissertation Deposit Process and submit your Electronic Thesis Acceptance Form, ETAF Form 9, to deposit your Thesis.
