  • Occupational Outlook Handbook: Data in this tool describes occupational statistics and employment projections in addition to other occupational information.
  • Roadtrip Nation: Take a journey with an industry expert to explore different career fields. School code (PDUECCO).

  • Upkey: Just getting started with a resume? Need help with your elevator pitch?  Upkey can help.
  • VMOCK: Use this tool to receive guidance and feedback on your existing resume.
  • Center for Career Opportunities (CCO) Career Handbook: Use the handbook for career decision making, resume building, creating cover letters, networking, interview/career fair prep, job searching, offer negotiation, graduate/professional school prep, and more.

Job Search Tools

  • Purdue MyCCO: Purdue's Career Center job search tool. Be sure to utilize the "Extended Job Search" feature.
  • Ascend Indiana: This platform connects students with Indiana employers for internships and employment.
  • LinkedIn: Use this tool to connect with employers, alumni, and colleagues as well as locating jobs and internships.
  • Purdue Libraries Career Research Portal: The portal includes many resources for the interview and job/internship search processes.
