Information about University

Tsinghua University is one of the highest ranked universities in China. Located in the northwestern suburbs of Beijing, the university was built on the site of a royal garden of the Qing Dynasty. Tsinghua University was established in 1911, and since then it has developed into a comprehensive institution of higher learning with faculties of science, engineering, economics, management, humanities, law and the arts.  The University has over 25,900 students, including 13,100 undergraduates and 12,800 graduate students.
