SPS Location

This field captures the academic grouping of the lead unit.

SPS Reviewer

The SPS reviewer is the Pre-Award manager or specialist who will develop, assist and/or review the proposal. The SPS reviewer is assigned by Pre-Award once the Proposal Notification Form is completed and submitted.

Business Contact

The same person as the SPS Reviewer should be listed here as well.

Cost Share Type

Cost Share dollars are accounted for within the budget however for quick reference and reporting, if the proposal contains Cost Share it will also be indicated here.

Conflict of Interest

This field is used to disclose if there is an indicated conflict of interest regarding any individual listed on the proposal.

 Data Management Plan

SPS tracks what type of data management plan is to be used on the project (if any).

Program Type

There are a number of sponsor defined programs that are specifically tracked and reported on here at Purdue.

Affiliations

Used to associate the proposal with a Center or Institute

 University Core Affiliations

Used to associate the proposal with a University Core.

Submission Method

SPS utilized for tracking and reporting trends in varying submission methods

International Scope

Indicates if the proposal has international scope.

International Code

Indicates the primary country/region where international scope on the project exists.

 SLA Compliance

SPS utilizes to track what steps where in compliance with the Pre-Award Service Level Agreement

 FCOI Ready

A field that triggers the Purdue Proposal Disclosure Database to pick up the record. The PDD will track SFI disclosures.

 Cancer Center Data

A field to track in preliminary data for this submission is a result of funding from the Cancer Center.

 Applied Research

A field to track if the project is considered Applied Research.

 Proposal Effort Score

A field to track the complexity level of the proposal.

 PI Lead Time

A field to track how much notice the PI gave to Pre-Award.

 Final Docs Received Prior to Deadline

A field to track when final documents were received by Pre-Award prior to the deadline.

 Facilities Usage

A field to track the affiliation of Bowen, Flex Labs, IMI, or Kepner Facilities.

 University Program/Initiative

A field to track to specific programs or initiatives within the university. 

 Corporate Contact

A field to indicate a specific person to contact for industrial proposals.

 CARES Act

A field to indicate if the grant would be awarded by CARES Act funds.

 CMMC Level

A field to track the level of requirement for a Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification.

 COVID-19

A field to track if the proposal is related in any way to COVID-19.

 Grant Type

A field to track the grant type by sponsor.
