Summer Double Major, Minors, Underg. Certificates, and Co-op Scholarships

The summer is a great time to enhance your Purdue degree by, completing course work towards a double major, minor(s), undergraduate certificate, or Co-op experience. Make sure to discuss your thoughts and plans with your academic advisor. 

**Institutional aid is only available to full-time degree seeking Purdue University (West Lafayette or Indianapolis students), guest students are not eligible**

Scholarship Application

Here is some basic information to help you better understand how the scholarship works and who qualifies.

How does it work?

If you are selected to receive a summer scholarship, you will be awarded up to $1,000 not covered by other gift aid to help with your tuition and fees for the summer.

Who qualifies?

Applicants must be current undergraduate students at Purdue University (West Lafayette or Indianapolis) who are enrolled for the spring semester and plan to take summer courses at Purdue University (West Lafayette or Indianapolis) toward a double major, minor(s), undergraduate certificate, or summer co-op experience. To be eligible, students must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours of online or on-campus coursework during the summer.

What is required for the application?

The application will ask you for PUID, First, Preferred, Last Name, Purdue Email address and cell phone number.

Other questions include class standing, residnecy, Purdue University campus attending, major's college, primary major, summer courses taking this summer, listing the additional academic major(s), minor(s), certificate(s) or co-op experience you are pursing. 

Lastly, you'll answer a short essay that articulates how receiving a summer scholarship will enable you to reach your educational goals (300-500 words).

Deadlines
