Required Information
Program participants are responsible for compliance with all laws and regulations related to employment, including practical training authorization requirements. Students studying in the United States on a student visa (e.g. F-1 visa) must comply with all visa requirements and should consult with the International Student Services (ISS) office to determine eligibility for this program and impact of participation. Students studying on an F-1 visa are advised that they will not be eligible for any off-campus practical training experience offered through participation in the program. However, they may participate in the program’s on-campus career development opportunities, subject to specific restrictions.
How to Opt-In
Students who want to opt-in to the Guaranteed Work Experience program must sign and complete the attached GWE Acknowledgement Form before December 11, 2026. This is only open to first-year students at Purdue Indianapolis. Upload the signed acknowledgement form to Career Gateway.
