College of Science Committees
Faculty CouncilThe faculty council serves as an advisory council to the Dean and facilitates communication between the faculty and the College. The council is responsible for the approval of new courses and programs and approves graduation degree candidates prior to commencement. The Undergraduate Curriculum and Academic Policy Committee (UCAP) and the Graduate Curriculum and Academic Policy Committee (GCAP) report to the Faculty Council. The Faculty Council consists of the Dean (non-voting), the Associate Deans (non-voting), and three elected representatives from each Department.
