myPurduePlan Training

This training is intended primarily for advisors and staff who are assisting advisors with degree clearance. Training will focus on the functionality of the worksheet and the application of exceptions for degree clearance. Both new and experienced advisors are welcome to attend.

Advisors who will be applying exceptions in myPurduePlan are required to attend this training in order to be granted access to the Exceptions tab.

While the Office of the Registrar recognizes that every college has its own onboarding agenda, it is highly recommended that new advisors not attend myPurduePlan training until they have had a reasonable opportunity to adjust to Purdue life, become familiar with the plans of study for which they will be advising, and have been introduced to the large pool of resources available to advisors that are both directly and indirectly related to myPurduePlan (ex. Banner, Boiler Connect, My Purdue, CCR, 10 year exception authorization, etc.). This will help new advisors to not feel overwhelmed and to walk away feeling comfortable going back to the office and applying what they have learned.

To register for myPurduePlan training, please send an e-mail to myPurduePlan@purdue.edu.
