Discounted entry fees available to Carmel Marathon Weekend event races

As part of the Healthy Boiler Program mentality – and in support of its physical health, financial wellness and behavioral health pillars – Human Resources is offering discounted registration fees (50 percent discount off all race distances for faculty, staff and their families) for the 13th-annual Carmel Marathon Weekend races. The event takes place April 7 and April 8, 2023, in Carmel, Ind.

To start the weekend, runners and walkers are invited to the Fitness Expo & Packet Pickup.

  • Date/Time: Friday, April 7, 2023 – 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. ET​
  • Location: Carmel High School - Freshman Cafeteria(Door 16)
  • Expo Parking: Parking at Carmel High School is FREE and open anywhere you’d like

Note: There is NO Packet Pickup available on race morning; therefore, participants need to ensure their packets are picked up at some point on Friday. Picking up a packet for others is easy; no ID or confirmation email required.

A pasta dinner also will be held. Details will be released once finalized.

The weekend offers five races, all of which take place on April 8. Individuals can register for whichever race best suits them.

The discount code (valid for a 50 percent discount off registration fees for all race distances) is HEALTHYBOILER. Registration is available here. Note: Registration fees increase after December 31, 2022. Additionally, each race has a limited number of participants. Register early to ensure your place in the race and to save the maximum amount on your registration.  

Get ready

The event is open to runners from beginner to novice, as well as walkers. Those who are interested in training for the event can utilize the help of Purdue health coaches to get themselves ready to run (or walk!) Health coaches are available to all benefits-eligible employees and dependents covered on a Purdue health plan.
