Rachael Behrend (Horticulture/Public Horticulture; Hometown: Poolesville, Maryland) is currently interning with the Grounds Department at Glenstone Museum in Potomoc, Maryland. Glenstone Museum focus in on Organic Landscaping of its 300 acres, unless it’s to deal with a disease or fungal infection. Stephen Meyers has been chosen as a 2023 North Carolina State University (NCSU) College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Outstanding Young Alumnus. The award recognizes a select group of alumni for significant contributions to NCSU and one’s profession and community. Meyers attended NCSU from 2007 to 2012, earning an MS and PhD in Horticultural Science.[Read More…]
