Interdisciplinary Life Science Program
PULSe
Thank you for your interest in the Purdue University Interdisciplinary Life Science Program (PULSe). The Program is being discontinued and will not be accepting applications for Fall 2027. We appreciate your interest in PULSe and encourage you to explore other departments and graduate programs at Purdue University that align with your academic interest and career goals.
Purdue University Interdisciplinary Life Science Program (PULSe) is a highly selective PhD program for motivated students with interests in a life science discipline. Students have access to innovative curriculums and diverse research opportunities that span multiple disciplines, as well as world-class facilities and resources.
“PULSe is for those who thrive on a multidisciplinary approach to science. It’s one of the only programs at Purdue where you can come from a completely different background and dive into a new research field. Here, boundaries between disciplines dissolve, allowing us PULSe students to explore science in ways that align with our unique goals and interests.”
