ESE 20th annual Symposium
One Planet, One Health
The 2025 ESE student cohort is bringing together students, faculty, and researchers to engage in dialogue on complex global challenges and systems-based solutions. We are excited to announce our 20th annual student-led ESE Symposium with the theme of “One Planet, One Health.” ESE is an interdisciplinary program that values the contributions of multiple perspectives and prioritizes collaboration that transcends academic, community, and disciplinary boundaries.
In support of this mission, the 2025 ESE Cohort has designed the 20th ESE Symposium for fall 2026 to bring together the campus community. Our one-day event will focus on exploring the interconnected relationships between environmental, human, and animal systems through an interdisciplinary lens. Our schedule will feature a Five Minute Thesis (5MT) competition, lunch and learn, and an interdisciplinary panel discussion designed to foster collaboration across ecological sciences, engineering, and health-related fields.
Open to the entire Purdue University, the Greater Lafayette community, and beyond, we invite students, faculty, staff, and the public to join us in celebrating community, collaboration, and action.
