We're revamping HR's popular One Hour with HR series! This monthly virtual professional development opportunity is still offering practical learning -- but now it's organized into four themes, making it easier to find what's most relevant to your career journey right now and to see how topics connect across the year.

The four themes:

• Work More Effectively — practical tools for focus, productivity and everyday impact
• Grow Intentionally — strategies for career development, skill-building and expanding your influence
• Collaborate Meaningfully — habits and mindset for stronger teams, trust and navigating change
• Engage and Contribute — how you show up as an individual, including recognizing peers and contributing to workplace culture

The sessions will also map to specific competencies, so you'll know the topic and the skills it will help you develop.

These free sessions are open to all Purdue employees. Once registered, the TEAMS link for the session will be sent in a separate email.

August: Building Trust at Work

Trust is one of the most important foundations for effective collaboration, communication and workplace relationships. In this interactive session, participants will explore practical behaviors that build trust at work and consider how those behaviors show up in everyday interactions. Learners will leave with a simple, actionable trust-building practice they can apply to strengthen credibility, repair missteps and contribute to a more connected work environment.
