Supervisor Training and Communication
The Manager Resources section of the Human Resources website is designed for supervisors and managers.
- All new supervisors should review the toolkit. It provides information and processes related to hiring, payroll, performance and compensation.
- All supervisor development tools are outlined on Supervision@Purdue.
- Contact the Leadership and Organizational Development team with questions.
- All hiring or recruiting processes and training resources are located on the Hiring@Purdue web page. The Talent Acquisition team can assist with questions or further guidance. (They are organized by college/area.) Training sessions are announced in Purdue Today and require registration through SuccessFactors – Learning (LMS).
- Offer letter templates are housed by the Provost office.
- Compensation guidelines, including promotions, transfers, etc are located on the Compensation Pay Practices web page.
- Compensation Specialists are organized by college/area and can help with position/pay practices.
- Please contact your Employment Center as soon as you are aware of employee or pay changes.
- Timekeeping resources for employees and supervisors are located on Pay@Purdue.
- Timekeeping processes and quick references for payroll centers are located on the Training SharePoint site.
- Overpayment information including Forms, FAQs and Processes are located under Payroll and on the Training SharePoint site.
- Summer Pay information is available within the Payroll Calendar webpages.
- Time Off or ‘Leaves’ information is located on the Types of Leave web pages and also on the Leaves (Benefits) web pages.
- Leaves Policies and Flexible/Remote Work Guidelines is single page reference.
- HR Business Partners assist leadership and employees with HR policies, practices, employee development, discipline, etc. They are organized by college/area.
- Performance@Purdue outlines the performance program.
