Purdue Fire Department
The Purdue Fire Department is one of very few university-based fire departments in the nation. As one of the best-trained departments in Indiana, Purdue Fire provides fire suppression, hazardous materials spill response, emergency medical service response and airport firefighting. Fire prevention training is provided in many venues, including online. Emergency medical service, including transport to local hospitals, is provided to the Purdue community free of charge.
