Academic Positions
Faculty appointments include tenure-track and tenured faculty, as well as non-tenure track faculty in the clinical/professional and research faculty job families. Faculty generally hold the rank of assistant professor, associate professor, or (full) professor, with some initial positions being at the rank of instructor if applicable. Faculty appointments and promotions are described in University policies and operating procedures as follows:
