Academic Ethics

As a public institution, Purdue University is responsible for assuring the citizens of the state of Indiana that it is focused on fulfilling its mission and is a good steward of its resources. Each faculty and staff member is held to certain standards, which are outlined in the University's policies on Conflicts of Commitment and Reportable Outside Activities (III.B.1), Individual Financial Conflicts of Interest (III.B.2), Institutional Conflicts of Interest (III.B.6), Nepotism (III.B.3), and Political Activities (III.B.4).
