Program Details

The service will operate seven days a week from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. throughout the pilot period, which runs through May 31. Each student will receive five ride credits per month, with each credit covering up to $15 of a Lyft ride. The credits are only usable within the outlined geo-fenced areas on the map. Students may also share rides with other eligible riders to maximize the value of each credit.

Ride Smart

When riding with Lyft, always make safety a top priority and be sure to take the following actions:

  • Ask the driver to say who they are picking up.
  • Verify your ride by making sure the license plate number, driver information and car make and model match what you see in the app.
  • Share your location and route with a friend or loved one from within the Lyft app so they can follow your ride in real-time.
  • Follow the Lyft vehicle on GPS via the app.
