Flock Safety

The Purdue University Police Department (PUPD) uses Flock Safety technology to capture objective evidence without compromising individual privacy. The department utilizes retroactive search capabilities to help solve crimes after they occurred. PUPD is also able to utilize real-time alerting of hotlist vehicles to potentially capture wanted criminals.

In an effort to ensure proper usage and transparency, policies and usage statistics are available to the public through the Flock Safety Transparency Portal.
