Fingerprinting Services
The Purdue University Police Department offers free fingerprinting services to help community members meet requests for background or security checks, military, VISAs and specialized licenses. Community members must provide an official photo ID, Purdue ID and any fingerprinting cards that have been received.
Fingerprinting is available for current Purdue students, staff, faculty, and retirees only
Fingerprinting is available weekly at the following times for walk-ins:
- Tuesday: 11:00-12:00pm
- Thursday: 11:00-12:00pm
Walk-in services will be done on a first come, first served basis as staff availability allows
If you are not available at the above times, please complete the online appointment form below in order to schedule an appointment.
- Please call (765)496-8369 with any questions about the form or process besides scheduling related questions.
- Appointments can be requested by filling out the form below. Staff will then contact you via email within 2-3 business days to schedule an appointment.
Please bring a valid photo ID (Driver License or Passport preferred, PUID accepted)
PUPD does not conduct fingerprinting for gun permits.
