October
The FAFSA opens
- Submit your 2026-27 FAFSA as early as possible to maximize your consideration for financial aid.
November – December
Watch for the Purdue Departmental Scholarship Applications
- To maximize any scholarship opportunities, we strongly encourage students to submit the 2026-27 FAFSA by Dec. 15.
- Purdue is currently enhancing the scholarship application experience for both incoming and current students, and additional information about applying for scholarships will be available in October.
- While those updates are being finalized, we encourage all students to complete and submit the FAFSA when it opens on Oct. 1. The FAFSA is an important step in determining eligibility for many types of financial aid and scholarship opportunities.
Search for private scholarships
Apply for scholarships using Scholarship Universe.
January – February
Verify information upon request
- If you are notified, submit any requested verification information found in your myPurdue portal under the Financial tab, then Financial Aid Requirements, as soon as possible.
March–April
Submit FAFSA
Submit your FAFSA by April 15.
June
Review your financial aid notification in myPurdue
- Students can expect to see these in mid-June.
