Review Financial Aid Notification
All students will receive a Financial Aid Notification from the Purdue Division of Financial Aid stating the financial aid granted to them by the university.
If you — as a newly accepted student — applied for financial aid and submitted all verification information requested, you should expect to receive a Financial Aid Notification from the Purdue Division of Financial Aid (DFA) in early March.
This notice will be sent via email and the notification directs students to view their financial aid offer online in their myPurdue system under the Financial tab. Notifications will also be sent to parents who supplied a parent email address on the FAFSA.
Learn more about additional instructions on how to access your Financial Aid Notification via myPurdue.
As you review the Financial Aid Notification and Purdue Financial Aid Terms and Conditions, keep in mind that grants and scholarships are types of gift aid that do not need to be repaid. Educational Loans and Federal Work-Study (FWS) are types of self-help financial aid. Loans must be repaid. FWS requires work/labor.
All students receive their Financial Aid Notification in myPurdue and will not receive a paper mailing.
