Scholarships
Scholarships are a type of gift aid, meaning they do not need to be repaid. Purdue offers scholarship opportunities for both incoming and current students based on academic achievement, financial need and other criteria.
First-Year Scholarships
Purdue offers several scholarship opportunities for incoming undergraduate students, including merit- and need-based scholarships.
To maximize consideration for available financial aid and scholarships:
- Apply to Purdue by Nov. 1. Submit your admission application by the Early Action deadline to be considered for Purdue merit scholarships.
- Complete the Purdue Scholarship Application by the Dec. 15 priority deadline. Explore additional university, college, department and donor-funded scholarship opportunities available to incoming students.
- Submit the FAFSA. Completing the FAFSA helps determine your eligibility for need-based financial aid and scholarship opportunities.
