The Office of the Vice Provost for Graduate Students and Postdoctoral Scholars invites graduate students, postdoctoral trainees, faculty, and staff to participate in the various nomination and application processes outlined for award programs. A range of awards, recognizing and honoring the outstanding efforts of students, faculty members, and graduate programs, is available.
There are several different awards and honors that are open to nomination, including:
- Purdue Vice Provost’s Award for Outstanding Graduate Faculty Mentor
- Purdue OGSPS Outstanding Graduate Coordinator Award
- Purdue OGSPS Excellence in Teaching Award
- Purdue OGSPS Excellence in Postdoctoral Mentoring Award
- Purdue OGSPS Mentoring Award for Graduate Students
- Midwestern Association of Graduate Schools (MAGS) Awards
- Council of Graduate Schools (CGS) Awards
- Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings Invitation
All Purdue awards are chosen by University representatives; the others are awarded by outside organizations. The MAGS and CGS awards both include several separate awards for teaching, mentoring, thesis writing and dissertation writing.
