ESE and the Office of the Vice Provost for Graduate Students and Postdoctoral Scholars (OGSPS) offer a variety of events that support academic and professional growth. Highlights include:
Held both in-person and virtually each year, the ESE Fall Preview Day gives prospective students a chance to explore the ESE program and learn more about Purdue University.
The ESE Symposium is a fully student-led event that offers opportunities to plan and participate in activities ranging from research presentations to volunteer events, all tailored to each cohort’s interests.
In addition, students are encouraged to take advantage of OGSPS workshops on teaching fundamentals, proposal writing, job search strategies, and navigating life experiences through the Office of Graduate and Postdoctoral Scholars Professional Development Office.
