CIGP Admissions
Computational Interdisciplinary Graduate Programs
Apply to CIGP today! For more information, email cigp@purdue.edu.
Computational Interdisciplinary Graduate Program (CIGP) accepts students who have already been admitted to an associated degree-granting department at Purdue University. CIGP is not a degree-granting program, but rather a concentration students may earn on their transcript. Both MS and PhD students may apply to CIGP once admissions to a degree-granting department is accepted.
Students will become a part of an interdisciplinary computational sciences community, which will open networking opportunities with faculty and students from 30+ degree-granting departments. Students will learn computational science and data science methods by taking courses appropriate for their research and will be empowered to use computational tools and methods to enhance graduate education, deepen understanding, and solve real-world challenges. In the end, students will obtain a concentration in computational sciences that appears on their official academic transcript.
Program applications are accepted all year but are only reviewed after the deadlines provided. To be considered for the program, applicants must submit the below application to the CIGP Office, either in-person or by emailing an electronic copy to cigp@purdue.edu. All applications will be reviewed once the deadline passes. The CIGP application is for all three concentration tracks.
