Research Summary:

My work revolves around looking into how viral membranes function and how we can use that information to develop drugs that can target them more efficiently. Specifically, I am investigating Marburg Virus egress from viral membranes.

Why did you choose to attend PULSe:

I joined the PULSe program because it offered the flexibility to rotate in multiple laboratories and work with professors across many disciplines, which improved my transferable skills. I was also interested in the research into viral membranes conducted by Dr. Stahelin here, whose lab I ended up joining.
