Research Summary:

My research focuses on developing novel immunotherapeutic strategies for treating Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG), a highly aggressive pediatric brain tumor. Specifically, I am exploring the use of natural killer (NK) cell-based cell therapy to enhance tumor targeting and overcome the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment characteristic of DIPG.

Why did you choose to attend PULSe:

I chose PULSe because of its strong emphasis on interdisciplinary research and flexibility. The opportunity to rotate through different departments and labs allows students to explore a wide range of fascinating research areas and helps them to discover their interests. I also appreciate the program's structure, qualifying training, annual committee meetings, first-year mentoring, events organized by GSO, which all provide consistent guidance and mentorship while encouraging students to reflect on their growth.

About Me: (Hobbies and Interests when not in lab):

Active me love exploring the outdoors through hiking and traveling with friends, and I really enjoy doing hot/yin yoga. The dormant me is a fan of crime shows/movies, and I can watch all day.
