Research Summary:
I currently study La Crosse virus, it is a relatively unknown virus that primarily affects children. I am looking at how the glycoproteins (or proteins expressed on the surface of the virus) interact with lipids and which lipids they interact with.
Why did you choose to attend PULSe:
I chose PULSe because I liked the freedom to rotate through and try other disciplines and the number of faculty associated allowed you to find a field that you are interested in.
